US – Unemployment Rate at 7.9%

Employers added 157,000 jobs in January, and the unemployment rate ticked up to 7.9%, the government reported Friday.

The unemployment rate was 7.8% in December, and has now been above 7% for 50 straight months. The number of people unemployed was 12.3 million last month, about the same as December.  Read more… http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/02/01/january-jobs-report/1881037/

The World – Bomber attacks US Embassy in Turkey

Christian / Anglican News:  TEC agrees to SC injunction (for now)
