World:  United States to move embassy to Jerusalem – President Donald Trump has announced that the US now recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, overturning decades of official US policy.  Read more

United States:  Minnesota Senator Al Franken resigns – Now that Sen. Al Franken has announced he will resign in the coming weeks, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton is facing a high-pressure decision over appointing a replacement.   Read more

Cleveland:    Northeast Ohio companies among recipients of $10 million for anti-opioid technologies – Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich announced $20 million in economic development funds would be available for technologies to combat opioid addiction.  Read more

Sports:  John Dorsey hired as Cleveland Browns GM, signed to 4-year deal, will have final say – BEREA, Ohio, The Browns wasted no time in filling Sashi Brown’s vacant chair with an accomplished football guy, hiring former Chiefs general manager John Dorsey as their GM Thursday night.  Read more
